Marketing and Resource Generation Division
The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies recommended a business
plan for CASP to develop a Marketing Division with the following objectives:
a. Fund-raising
b. Resource mobilization
c. Image building
d. Advocacy
Keeping in view the above objectives a separate division viz. Marketing and Resource Mobilization Division was created. For fund raising programme Maj Gen R. S. Pannu, a well-known fund-raiser from India, was consulted.
In the last Standing Committee meeting the targets set for the Marketing
Division were as follows:
i. To increase the number of sponsored children to 2,000 in a year
and
ii. To raise 50% community development projects.
Efforts are being made to achieve the targets. Some of the activities
undertaken are:

- Project expansion
- Sale of cassettes
- Sale of books
- Sale of films
- Increasing sponsors
- Consultancy services
Image Building
Advocacy
Participating at State, national, international platforms for HIV/AIDS,
child labour.
