CASP Delhi is functional at the resettlement community of Madanpur Khadar with multidimensional approach towards for Child Centered Community Development. With its different project and programme CASP Delhi Unit is supporting and strengthening the Goal of the Society. Further CASP Delhi organized a wide range of Creative and personality development Programmes during the period of 2009-10.
Bal Utsav : CASP Delhi Unit organized one day long event on the occasion of

Children's Day known as BAL UTSAV . BAL UTSAV is celebrated at Delhi Unit every year where all the children get platform to feel special and enjoy their childhood. During this event a dance show was organized where CASP Delhi sponsored children participated with passion and enthusiasm. Visitors from Children Above All Sweden (Agency) and Mrs. Sushma Joshi , Deputy Director Programme from CASP Pune attended the event and cherished the innocent performances by children. On 14th November 2009 Children's Day was celebrated with some of our special categories of the sponsor children like Tihar Jai Project, Naya Jeevan and Nanhi Kali (K.C.M.E.T. Project). On the day children participated in mass event especially for children organized at Children's Park received different gift also.
Participation in NGO Mela organized by YMCA : Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) organized Yuv Utsav & NGO Mela 2009 at YMCA Delhi to strengthen its partnership and linkage with the partners and concern NGOs. This two day long even was full of culture and art base activities. CASP Delhi Unit also participated in different activities on the occasion. The programme was inaugurated by ms Krishna Tirath Minister of Women and Child Development Delhi Govt. Komal (15792) win the First Prize in Slogan Writing & Vikram won the second prize in On the Spot Painting.
Nature Camp Gujarat : 10 sponsored Children from CASP Delhi Unit joined in the Nature Camp organized by CASP Gujarat to experience nature Gujarat 60 sponsored children. Dholavira has excavated city, which was masked 5000 years ago. This city is connected with Sidhu civilization and Hadppian Civilization. Children witnessed history and also sunset in desert. Children also visited famous Wood Fossil Park where 180 million year old wood fossils conserve. Children visited B.S.F Camp near Indo Pak Border and met soldiers of Border Security Force. In the night, children enjoyed folk dance and songs prepared and presented by with in a group. Kutch forest department arranged all the facilities for stay and food for children. This was wonderful experience in view of enhance children knowledge regarding nature.
Sponsor Children at Picnic, Exposure Visit and Educational Visits : CASP Delhi organized picnic programme along with exposure visit at various spots at Delhi . These places provide education exposure with recreation To the children which help them to learn the details .Places like Nehru Tara Mandal (Nehru Planetarium), Qutab Minar, Akshardhaam Temple, Trimurti Bhavan, Children's Park. Under this activity CASP covered 589 sponsored children.
3rd Annual Talent Search Programme 2009 : CASP Delhi organized two days long event in the community of Madanpur Khadar as 3rd Annual Talent Search Programme 2009. Main highlight of the programme were Cultural and Art events & put up of stalls by different NGOs working are Madanpur Khaddar Community.
In this event eight NGOs of Madanpur Khaddar (MK) participated with full enthusiasm such as Jaagori, CASP Plan, Etasha, Sadhawna, AAG, and Mobile Crèches. Asif Mohammad Khan (MLA) appreciated the programme and distributed gifts to participants. CASP Delhi Unit Chairperson and CASP Trustee Dr. Ranajana Kaul visited the programme and wished New Year with lots of joys to community and children.
| Delhi Child Rights Club : |
To develop leadership quality in our sponsored children and make them a responsible citizen, CASP-Delhi motivated and supports them to form a group of children, which is called Bal Manch. Bal Manch got the membership of Delhi Child Rights Club (DCRC), now they are participating in all programmes and activities of Delhi Child Rights Club.
Initiative Of Bal Adhikar Manch Rally For Missing Children : Three children Sita (15), Ratna (14) and Gulshan (12) were missing from Madanpur Khadar since 5th June 2009. With initiative of Bal Adhikar Manch CASP Delhi has organized a Rally for raising voice for the children Family approached to CASP-Delhi for support and discussed case with Bal Adhikar Manch (BAM). Bal Adhikar Manch took charged for their missing friends and decided to raise the issues under the banner of Bal Adhikar Manch and while processing further, BAM immediately decided to organize a Mass Awareness Rally on 19th July 2009. Through this Mass Awareness Rally, Bal Adhikar Manch has sensitized residents of Madanpur Khadar, Police and Civil Admistaration and also submitted an appeal at Jaitpur Police Station, to Mr. Perwaiz Hashmi (Area M.L.A.) and Mrs. Brahm Singh (Area Councilor) to take serious and immediate action for search Sita, Ratna and Gulshan.
Sports Meet- 2008 CASP Delhi Sports Club : CASP Delhi unit formulated and

running a Sports Club opens for all sponsored children. Sports club is initially been monitored by CASP Child Right Club. In its initial stages of formation Sport Club participated in Delhi Child Right Club (DCRC) Sports Meet to compete for Common Wealth Champion Trophy with other NGOs and schools organized by DCRC. CASP Delhi sponsored children participated in events such as throw ball, shot put, 50 meters flats etc. CASP won majority of prizes at practice matches in the meet and effort of children was appreciated by other organization too.
Clean Khaddar Project : With motive to build up hygienic and clean community CASP Delhi under the banner of BAL Adhikar Manch launched Clean Khadar Project which is directly monitored by Bal Adhikar Manch (BAM). With the innovative idea of SAFAI MITRA Clean Khadar project in it initial stage catering 300 household for collection of garbage. At present we are collecting garbage from three different block and this activities is carried out by four SAFAI MITRAS.
Skill Building Sessions/Workshop : |
Counseling session for Board Examination related Stress Management : A

session for class 10th and 12th was organized by CASP Delhi Unit to teach skills to cope up with board exam related stress. This Session was also open for class 9th and 11th so as to give them basic skill for managing up coming board stress for the next year. Dr. Deepali Batra (Consultant Psychologist, Batra Hospital, Delhi ) was invited for conducting session. In this one day long session 60 student & 25 parents draw the benefits of the counseling session.
Life Skill & Adolescent Health Training -
Community Aid and Sponsorship Program (CASP), Delhi organized a series of workshops with their target audience adolescent. The workshop focused on providing accurate information on the phase of growing up and also aimed at bringing positive changes in attitude, values and outlook towards the issues. The target group comprised of 35 girls in the age group of 1115 years and 24 to 30 boys in the age group of 13-16 years, belonging to low socio economic background. The participants were a group of school goers and stayed nearby.
Creativity Workshop : Like every year this in June 09 CASP Delhi organized Creativity workshop for ten days. 200 sponsored children were trained in various handicrafts skills like Paper Craft, Paper Mashie, Tie & Dye, Glass Painting and Madhubani Painting and Drawings etc.
Awareness session on HIV/AIDS : World's AIDS Day was observed on 1st of Dec 2009 to generate awareness on global issue among target group and community. To achieve the goal CASP conducted awareness through street play & Group sessions in community and near by schools .In these even 1500 children were reached out for awareness.
Save Yammuna River Campaign : CASP Delhi Unit Sponsor Student participated in Awareness workshop to support Save Yammuna River Campaign. Along with other sponsored children your sponsored children also participated in the progranmme.

Food Safety Run & Walkathon : On the occasion of the World Food Day organized by CII institute of quality on 16th October 2009 at India Gate. This programme was inaugurated by Smt. Sheila Dikshit Chief Minister, Government of NCT of Delhi.
Film Making Workshop : CASP organized a Film Making Workshop for the sponsored children and 26 children participated in that workshop and after that they presented a skit on Child Rights along with other sponsored children.
Photography Workshop : There was another capacity building workshop organized by CASP Delhi on photography. In this those children who where interested in the still photography where selected and trained under the banner of Bal Adhikar Manch. In this workshop children's were trained about ho to take picture and how to make video recording, etc.
Drawing Competition : CASP Delhi organized a drawing competition for the

sponsored children. Where 76 children participated and displayed their talents and provide recreation with learning. Every Child got participation gift from CASP and appreciation from Manju Upadhyay, Project Manager CASP Delhi Unit.
Other Projects -
Gender Resource Center/Samajik Suvidha Sangam (GRC/SSK) : CASP Delhi is implementing GRC/SSK in Madanpur Khadar of Delhi. CASP - Delhi has got an opportunity to implement this noble work to empower the clusters women and make Delhi safe for women in all aspects. In its phase of three year CASP GRC has reached to its height for catering women for empowerments. This project facilitates Families in Madanpur Khadar for Legal Advocacy, Vocation Training, Health Check Up facilities, Low Cost Nutrition & Facility Non Formal Education etc.
Recreation for Elderly People : To provide facilities for relaxation, recreation and avenues of social and cultural activities for leisure time to old persons CASP Delhi project is implementing recreation center for elderly people at Madanpur Khadar. 30 Elderly women are catered thought this project for Health Facilities Recreation and Vocation Skill.
