CASP Delhi is working in the community of Madanpur Khadar with sustainable approach towards Child Welfare and leading to Community Development. To achieve this goal CASP Delhi Unit design and plan yearly activities to support and strengthen the Goal of the Society. Further CASP Delhi organized a wide range of Creative and personality development Programmes during the period of 2008-09. Its AIM was to focus on the overall development of sponsored children, his/her family and the community as a whole that is Child Centered Community Development

Child Rights Event - CASP-Delhi had organized a programme “Listen children Speak ” on 12 June 08 at Gandhi Darshan Rajghat, it was organized in collaboration with Butterflies and Delhi Child Rights Club. 250 children from 12 NGOs, had participated in this one-day programme, they discussed the causes of child labour and suggested solutions to minimize it.

Creativity Workshop - In June 2008, a ten days Creativity Workshop was organized to sharpen the talent of the trained sponsored children by providing them an opportunity to teach beginner from the community. 200 sponsored children were trained in various handicrafts skills like Paper Craft, Paper Mashie, Tie & Dye, Glass Painting and Madhubani Painting and Drawings etc. These products were displayed in community, so the parents of these children also feel proud of the work done by their children.

Career Guidance And Vocational Training : 30 June 2008 - CASP-Delhi initiated various Career Guidance and Vocational Training Programmes for the young boys and girls, aiming at their upgrading of the knowledge system regarding various options in their career. This also helped them to identify their skills and area of interest so that they can choose a right career. In this training session students undertook lots of discussions. The Director of Jan Shiksan Sansthan and other professionals were invited to answer the questions of youth. This programme was specially organized for the children those who are seeking some jobs for their livelihood. This was designed to make children aware about the various options in front of them and to choose the right and appropriate one for their career.

Independence Day Celebration: 15th August 2008 - Our sponsored children celebrated Independence Day Programme, The programme was started with Flag March.. The children are very much enthusiastic, they presented different Cultural Programmes like group dance, solo dance, song skit etc. CASP-Delhi teachers express to the children about “Indian Struggle for Independence against British”. Around 200 children participate in the programme. All the children enjoyed the programme activities. The sports activities also were arranged. Project encouraged the children by distribution of prizes.

Disaster Management Workshop - This programme was organized by the support of Disaster Management Authority. It was a training programme specially designed for students to train them about how they can save their community from natural calamity and other disasters. Children have participated in Role Play Activities/ Mock Drill.

BAL UTASAV - (Children's day celebration) CASP Delhi had organized sports, Drawing, painting, Pot Painting, face painting, Rangoli, Dance, Skit and Singing competitions at Madanpurkhadar on 13th Nov 08, total 148 children participated in this day long programme, parents of the sponsored children were present to appreciate the performance of their children. Prizes were given to the winners by CASP.

Participation in NGO Mela organized by YMCA - Sponsored Children of Delhi unit participated in two days annual NGO Mela organized by YMCA Delhi on 26th and 27th November 08, Children participated in various competitions. They won second prize in group dance competition, we also had a stall at Mela to display creativity of our children and information about the programmes of CASP Delhi.

Nature Camp - Gujarat Forest Department organized a nature camp at Mochirai Forest near Bhuj District. CASP 10 sponsored children got an opportunity to participate in this two days residential nature camp on 25th and 26th November. They got opportunity to know more about the forest and it's animals, they enjoyed a lot in campfire and plantation. During this visit Delhi children also got on opportunity to see the project activities in Gujarat and interaction with the children of BAL Panchayat Gujarat.

Talent Search Programme -
Unit had organized annual Talent Search programme in the community on the eve of New Year, this is the second year of Talent Search event, This year 155 sponsored children participated in this programme to show their talent in Dance, singing, Drawing, Painting and Essay writing. Their performance is appreciated by giving then prizes. Parents also enjoyed this programme.

Delhi Child Rights Club - To develop leadership quality in our sponsored children and make them a responsible citizen, CASP-Delhi motivated and supports them to form a group of children, which is called Bal Manch. This year Bal Manch got the membership of Delhi Child Rights Club (DCRC), Now they are participating in all programmes and activities of Delhi Child Rights Club. On the occasion of tenth annual day of The DCRC 12 sponsored children from CASP-Delhi participated in sports and essay competition and they won prizes.

Card Making Event - CASP – Delhi organized a greeting cards making event at Madanpur Khadar on this occasion all sponsored children were gathered to make Christmas and New Year greetings cards for their sponsors.

Fun Mela - 1000 sponsored children and their siblings get pleasure from Fun Mela at Madanpur Khadar, they enjoyed rides on swings and magic show. It was real fun for them in their own community.

Educational Visit to National Science Museum - On 10th and12th January, 150 sponsored children of class 7th & 8th got the espouser to visit national science museum, they were accompanied by their teacher who helps them to understand the things and answer their queries.

Health Check up Camp - CASP Delhi organized health check up camp for its sponsored children, where the blood group and hemoglobin levels was measured. In that camp 421 sponsored children were checked and after check up, also we provided health kits to the sponsored children, which contain general cleanness items of daily use, such as Soap, Toothpaste and Toothbrush and Vaseline cream.

Picnics and Exposure Visits - We organized picnic and exposure visits programmes for our children according to their age all children got an opportunity to participate in this, during the year they visited Doll Museum, Science Museum, Rail Museum, Natural History Museum, Children Park, Garden of Five Senses, All of them enjoyed these events.

Participation in the programmes of other NGO's - CASP children took part in the three day long anniversary programme of Habitat Learning Centre, where they performed Skit, group dance and won prizes in the drawing and painting competition. Our children also took participation in the fair organized by Jagriti Samiti group in the same community. In that fair these children performed group dance and won prize for that performance.

Sports Meet- 2008 - 80 sponsored children participated in two days sport meet organized for the sponsored children of Madanpur khaddar, before this meet they got training to learn rules and regulation of all games, also they participated in a written quiz programme on sport and games.

Science Day Celebration - CASP-Delhi celebrated the “Science Day” with the sponsored children's. In which the children's prepared projects on different topics of Science according to their class and interests, these projects were displayed in the community where all children and their parents got opportunity to see the experiments of Science.

Inter Agency Meet - CASP-Delhi sponsored children participated in the Annual Inter Agency Competition, which was organized by Jamia Millia Islamia University . Children from several other NGO's came together to participate in various activities like games, skits, group dances, etc.
