During the year of 2007-08 various sorts of activities have been performed by CASP Delhi Unit for the overall development of sponsored children of Tihar Jail inmates. The various activities performed are as follows :
Parent Child Meet Programme :
In every quarter of the year Parent Child Meet Programme has been arranged by CASP with the help of Jail authorities at Central Tihar Jail No. 2, 4 and 6 and Rohini District Jail. In this programme around 50 sponsored children were participated in this programme in each quarter.
Picnic Programme at Children's Park :
In frequent intervals of time picnic programme for the tihar sponsored children has been also arranged at Children's Park as per the convenience of the tihar families. During the picnic programme around 80 children participated and enjoyed it very much along with other sponsored children. During picnic programme proper arrangement of the enjoyment of children and their lunch has been arranged by CASP.
Experience Sharing Workshop :
For getting information through the experience of the Tihar families, to know about the various problems of families and what type of solutions they want, a workshop of Experience Sharing was arranged through CASP. In this workshop 15 families of tihar jail from the various sites of Delhi participated in this workshop. In this workshop they could able to share their thoughts, their needs, their problems etc. The resource person of this workshop provided all the relevant information/suggestions regarding their problems.
Health Camp :
For taking care of the tihar sponsored children time to time health camp is also organized by CASP. During last year the health camp was organized at Children's Park where around 85 sponsored children, siblings and their family members were got benefit. During this camp proper arrangement of physician for the check up was arranged there. Distribution of nutritious food articles and health kit was arranged there.

• Supplementary Education.
• Distribution of Educational materials
• Developmental Contribution
CASP is providing reimbursement for supplementary education for the children who are weak in their studies. CASP is also providing educational materials like uniform, stationery, bags, shoes etc to sponsored children every year. For the development of the families CASP has provided financial services to various tihar families by keeping the developmental factor of the family in mind. Under this development contribution around 10,000/- Rs. was spent during last year.
